Concorde's Winter Holiday
Concorde at Filton – Alpha Foxtrot and her volunteer team – are taking a well-earned fortnight’s break between Christmas Eve and Tuesday 10 January 2006.
It is a very good time to say “thank you” to some very special people:
- Visitors in their thousands with whom we have had the pleasure of sharing Concorde 216;
- Visitors who have recorded their happy memories in the Visitors’ Book;
- Visitors who have made donations directly to the Museum Appeal Fund;
- Visitors who have sent their beautiful photographs for the Concorde at Filton album;
- Alpha Foxtrot’s Volunteer Team, for their commitment, hard work and unfailing enthusiasm in welcoming Visitors;
- Airbus UK for their ongoing support;
- British Airways for making Alpha Foxtrot available;
- The Designers, Engineers, Constructors, Test Crews, Maintenance Teams and Cabin Crew, without whom the Beautiful Bird would not have become a supersonic reality.
We wish you a happy winter holiday with safe onward travel, and look forward to welcoming you to Concorde at Filton in 2006.
